 Yes, you must fill apply to the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) for a special occasions permit. You can either visit the LCBO outlet in Norwich for a copy of the application, or you can download at  https://www.agco.ca/sites/default/files/1575e_sop_guide.pdf

You must provide a copy of the permit to the Norwich Community Centre prior to your function. If a copy is not provided we reserve the right to cancel the bar for your rental.

Can I hire my own bartenders? 

The Lessee must provide their own Valid Smart Serve trained bartenders for their function – we no longer have bartenders on staff

Can I use the hall the night before to decorate?

If the hall is available, you may use the hall. If you want to be sure to have the hall to set up, you must reserve the hall and pay a set-up day fee. The set-up fee changes yearly, please refer to our user-fee by-law

Chairs: Our tables are 72”x 30”.

• Chairs: black molded plastic
• Tables: rectangular 72”x30” (seat 6)
• Stage/Riser: 8’ x 16’ (128 sq’ ft) – can be made into four separate 4’ x 8’ stages/risers

• The kitchen and hall should be left as you found them.
• All tables and chairs need to be wiped down and stored in the table and chair room.
• All garbage to be taken with you.
• Please do not use ceiling decorations on the sloped ceilings or on the pendulum lighting.
• Any decorations placed on the walls should be placed with a green painter's tape or an invisible tape that is easy to remove, so as to not disfigure the paint on the walls.
• Keys are available for pick-up at 285725 Airport Road, Norwich at the mutually agreed upon time. Please make arrangements one week in advance for key pick-up.
